Lawler Manufacturing is hiring a Mechanical Assembly Technician with soldering experience who enjoys building things and working with piping, fittings, valves, and mechanical components.
Monday through Friday | 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Work indoors in a clean, quiet manufacturing facility. No weekends and no mandatory overtime.
What You Will Do
Physical and Work Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent use of hands and tools, bending and reaching, and the ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds. Employees must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and maintain a safe and organized work area.
Job duties may vary based on production needs. Employees may be asked to perform other assembly or manufacturing responsibilities for which they are trained and qualified.

What You Will Do
- Solder piping and components
- Measure and cut pipe
- Assemble piping, fittings, tubing, valves, and mechanical components
- Make basic wiring connections
- Follow diagrams and assembly instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
- Check your work for accuracy and quality
- Assist with valve assembly when production needs require it
- Previous soldering experience is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to measure accurately and follow diagrams
- Dependable attendance and attention-to-detail
- Plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, or basic wiring experience is preferred.
